Community Awareness Alert

The Sugarcreek Township Police Department responded to seven reports of thefts from vehicles and three reports of vehicles stolen during the overnight period, June 30-July 1. In all cases, vehicles were unlocked and/or with the keys left in the vehicle. The Sugarcreek Township Police Department implores all residents to HIDE YOUR THINGS, LOCK YOUR CAR, AND TAKE YOUR KEYS! Practicing these three key common-sense precautions will make it much less likely that you and your vehicle will be targeted by thieves.
