Welcome to scenic Sugarcreek Township!

Thank you for visiting! We are a premier residential community home to just over 8,000 residents, a diverse and expanding commercial tax base, breathtaking open space areas, excellent schools and an administration dedicated to exemplary customer service. Located in the southwest corner of Greene County, on the southeast fringe of the urbanized area surrounding Dayton, Sugarcreek Township offers easy access to Interstate 675 and close proximity to Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Sugarcreek's dramatic and varied landform is dominated by the valleys of the Little Miami Scenic River and its various tributaries including the township's namesake waterways, the Sugar Creek and the Little Sugarcreek. We are proud to keep our residents and visitors informed with the most up-to-date resources available. Please feel free to submit any comments or questions, as well as relevant links.
HOW IS A SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED AND WHAT DO THE DIFFERENT LEVELS MEAN?
A Snow Emergenty is declared by the County Sheriff's Department. A Level 1 Snow Emergency means that roadways are hazardous. Drive very cautiously. A Level 2 Snow Emergency means that roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roadways. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. If you are driving, use extreme caution. A Level 3 Snow Emergency means that all roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary or a personal emergency exists. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Anyone traveling on the roadways may subject themselves to citation/arrest.
