Odd-Even Water Restrictions  Printer Friendly Version

Greene County has modified the total lawn-watering ban issued in June 2007 and implemented odd-even restrictions and is asking that residents take measures to conserve water.

Greene County is closely monitoring the production wells and tank levels so they can respond promptly to anything that would jeopardize the system. If this method of restricting lawn watering does not keep the system viable, they will find it necessary to go back to the total lawn-watering ban. Their primary goal is to ensure the integrity of the system so the health and safety needs of our customers will be met. Your assistance and cooperation in achieving this goal is greatly appreciated, as is your patience throughout this difficult time.

Under the odd-even restrictions, customers at an odd-numbered address can water on odd-numbered days; those at even-numbered addresses can water on even-numbered days.  Please note these restrictions are in effect only for Sugarcreek Township residents north of Feedwire Road.
