                                                                                                  NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Greene County Parks, in cooperation with the Greene County Engineer’s Office, the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, will hold a Public Information Meeting for the project described below on September 10, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Park District Community Center located at 2751 Washington Mill Road in Bellbrook, Ohio. 


Greene County Parks is in the process of developing plans for the GRE-Bellbrook Bikepath Connector.  The project involves construction of a paved, multi-use bike path in western Greene County that will connect the City of Bellbrook at Sackett-Wright Park to the Little Miami Scenic Trail in or around the Village of Spring Valley, following along SR 725 and/or the Little Miami Scenic River corridors.  The project work is expected to utilize a combination of existing right-of-way, public land, and private property easements. 

 

The purpose of this meeting is to afford all interested persons an opportunity to review and comment on the planned project.  The meeting will be held in an “open house” format, with Project Team representatives available to take your comments and answer your questions.  The open house style format affords you the opportunity to attend the meeting at your convenience between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 p.m., review the meeting displays illustrating the project, and discuss the project individually with Project Team representatives.  There will not be any formal speaker presentation at this meeting. 

 

Notices for this meeting have been placed on the Ohio Department of Transportation website (http://www.dot.state.oh.us/dist8/) and in local newspapers.  Public input is a very important part of the project development process.  Comments may be made at the meeting or up to 14 days subsequent to the meeting either via mail or phone. 

 

Individuals who may require interpretation services or special assistance to participate in this meeting should Greene County Parks at the numbers listed above, 5 to 7 days prior to the meeting, for arrangements to be made.

LEGAL NOTICE

The Board of Zoning Appeals of Sugarcreek Township, Greene County, Ohio, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, SEPTEMBER 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sugarcreek Township Administration Office, 2090 Ferry Road, Bellbrook, Ohio, for BZA Case 06-2008.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider an application for variances under Article 21.08 (5.) of the Zoning Resolution for Sugarcreek Township described as follows: 

 

Case BZA06-2008:  Applicant Christ’s Church-Jennifer Santoro is requesting variances under Article 21.08 (5.) of the Sugarcreek Township Zoning Resolution to allow for the expansion of a legal non-conforming use, to allow for the construction of a 180 SF ground sign at a height of 8.5’ incorporating 63.3 SF of electronic copy, and to allow for the construction of entry walls at the existing entrance to the church at a height of 4’.  The Sugarcreek Township Zoning Resolution does not provide for signage or entry walls in the A-2 (Agricultural) District.  Subject property is 3370 Upper Bellbrook Road, parcel L32000200160000200, located in the A-2 (Agricultural) District. 

The application for the requested variances is available for public examination at the Sugarcreek Township Administration Office, 2090 Ferry Road, during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The application may also be examined by appointment by calling 937-848-8426.
