Open to boys & girls ages 13-21   Exploring is a program to familiarize teenage boys and girls with the Emergency Medical and Fire Services.  The youth organization is a stepping-stone for those who wish to become Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, or Firefighters.   Our program will offer a wide variety of training and programs that will prepare you for this type of public service. Regardless of your career choice, the experience gained will better prepare you for the future.  Our program will teach leadership skills, teamwork, and civic values.  In addition, the explorer post will build team-working skills, camaraderie and new friendships.     You will gain an understanding of the daily operations of the fire department.  You will be able to do a majority of the same training alongside professional Sugarcreek Township Firefighters.
